Every student can benefit from personalized guidance, no matter their starting point.

Education is not just about grades; it's about nurturing a love for learning.

Learning is a journey, and every step forward is a step toward success.

I believe:

I understand that trusting someone new with your student’s education can be a big decision, and I’m here to make that choice feel a little easier. My priority is to ensure both you and your student feel comfortable and confident working with me. It’s important to me that you feel supported every step of the way in this process, and I hope this helps you decide if I’m the right fit to guide your student on their academic journey.

I'm Jordan, your guide on the path to academic success

I'm a very social person, I love meeting and learning about people. I can't wait to meet you and your student and am happy to answer any questions you may have!

I graduated high school in 2020, so my high school and college experiences were both heavily impacted by the pandemic, this means I understand online learning, both how to utilize it and work around the challenges it has presented for students academic journeys.

I worked at Starbucks for two an a half years, I was a supervisor and became a coffee master. I enjoy crafting espresso beverages at home and am always happy to talk about coffee.

I love music, both listening and playing. I play guitar and piano, and I even used to play the saxophone. That one had to stop when I moved into an apartment, for obvious reasons.

I have two cats named Joey and Cassie. If I'm not working I'm probably hanging out with them.

I'm from Southern California, specifically South Orange County, but I grew up in Temecula. I went to college in Los Angeles, and now I live in Charlotte, NC.

My Educational background:
From an early age, I was placed in accelerated courses, which laid a strong academic foundation throughout my elementary and middle school years. This prepared me for the rigorous challenges of high school, where I excelled in pre-AP, AP, and IB courses, ultimately graduating with an IB diploma. I later attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), earning a B.A. in Political Science with concentrations in Political Theory and American Politics.

My academic experience extended far beyond my major, as I pursued a variety of extracurricular courses in subjects like astronomy, biology, psychology, archaeology, and English literature. This diverse curriculum has provided me with a well-rounded education, strengthening my skills in research, writing, math, and history. The breadth and depth of my studies equip me to guide students through their own academic journeys, no matter their level or subject area.

During my time at UCLA, I founded and served as president of a pre-law club, which grew to become the largest of its kind on campus and continues to thrive today. Leading this organization refined my leadership and organizational skills, while also allowing me to mentor my board members in developing these abilities. I strongly believe that organization and preparedness are key components of academic success, and I’m excited to bring that expertise to help students not only excel in their studies but also build essential life skills.

Throughout my education, I’ve come across a wide range of valuable resources that helped me succeed, from study tools and organizational strategies to online platforms and reference materials. Whether it was finding the best ways to prepare for tests, manage time effectively, or dive deeper into complex topics, these resources became essential to my learning. Now, I’m excited to share these with my students to help them study more efficiently, stay organized, and feel confident in their academic journey.

This photo is a spotlight for my position of president at a club I founded at UCLA, which became the largest club for pre-law students on campus! From coordinating my board team to planning out every detail of our events, I developed organizational skills that I will use to make thoughtful, structured lesson plans.
